St Paul's Anglican Church Ulmarra Second World War Roll of Honour, South Grafton Middle Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background This war memorial consists of two timber honour rolls for the former St Paul's Anglican Church in Ulmarra. The boards are a matching pair and were presumably attached or hung together originally. Both boards are rectangular, with decorative carved pediments at the top. Together, the boards list the names of 62 members of the church who served in the Second World War. Each name is printed in gold and a gold cross appears next to those who fell. The first board includes surnames beginning with A to M and the second board lists surnames from M to W. While it is unknown when the memorial was dedicated, it was likely unveiled and displayed at the Ulmarra church. When the church closed in the 1990s, it was moved to St Matthew's Anglican Church in South Grafton, now known as the South Grafton Anglican Church. Also on site is the St Paul's Anglican Church Ulmarra First World War Roll of Honour, South Grafton, which has a similar design. Do you know more about this war memorial?
