St Clement's Anglican Church First World War Memorial Windows, Mosman Middle Image Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background Inside St Clement's Anglican Church in Mosman, NSW, are two pairs of stained glass windows, dedicated to two parishioners killed in action in the First World War. The first pair, depicting Christ and the disciples receiving the children, is dedicated to Lieutenant F. H. Semple. The second, depicting the Good Shepherd and Christ knocking at the door, is dedicated to Lieutenant Norman Booth. Inscription Windows 1 and 2 To the glory of God and in loving memory of Lieut F H Semple 18th Battalion AIF, aged 29 years, Killed in Action 19th May 1918. Erected by Friends and Parishioners in recognition of his work in this Church and Sunday School. Windows 3 and 4 To the glory of God and in lasting memory of Lieut Norman W Booth of the 18th Battalion AIF who was killied in action in France on Nov 6th 1916. An indefatigable worker in this Parish. Erected by friends who mourn his loss.
