In the front yard is a cenotaph that was erected in 1989 by the Old Bar Beach RSL sub-Branch. It is a full marble monument, accompanied by a flagpole. In 2000, a rock wall was built on the site and it is faced with multiple plaques to commemorate the local Old Bar Heroes. A time capsule is also housed nearby. Anzac and Remembrance Day ceremonies were previously held here, up until the memorial hall and land could not cater for the increasing population size and the number of attendees who would come to pay their respects. Ceremonies are now held at Old Bar Beach Park and Old Bar Tavern.
