Description / Background

The Coo-ee March Memorial Gateway is situated at the Molong Recreation Ground. The gateway was established to honour the Molong men who joined the Coo-ee March at the same grounds in 1915. The memorial was officially opened on 13 March 2004 by Councillor John Farr, then Mayor of Cabonne, and was unveiled by the Hon Charlie Lynn MLA. There is a plaque located on each side of the gateway.
