Memorial gates at the entrance of the Boystown Hospital, Waratah Street in Engadine erected by the Australian Meat and Allied Trades Union in 1944.

Note: the war was still going when the plaques were installed so the finish year was left open.

Inscription

Left plaque:

As a perpetual inspiration to Australian youth. This war memorial was erected by the Australian Meat Industry and its Allied Trades.

Right plaque:

This Hospital is dedicated to the memory of the men of the Australian Meat Indsutry and Allied Trades who gave their lives in World War II 1939 - 194-.
