Coogee Surf Life Saving Club First World War Roll of Honour Middle Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background This honour roll located inside the Coogee Surf Life Saving Club commemorates those who served in the First World War. It has a traditional pediment at the top with a simple timber frame around the board. A surf lifesaving reel painted in gold sits above the name of the Club, which is also in gold and features dark drop shadowing on the text. The names of 84 veterans are painted in gold over two columns across the board. The list is not in alphabetical order but does include the fate of 15 veterans as died, killed or missing.
