Pymble Soldiers Memorial Park Middle Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background Pymble Soldiers Memorial Park is a beautifully landscaped garden located in Sydney's Upper North Shore. It was officially opened on 9 March 1929, in honour of those who served in the First World War. The park is accessed via a sandstone arch, which faces Mona Vale Road. A flagstone pathway starts at the arch and continues through the garden, to a seating area covered with a pergola. Along the path are a sandstone drinking fountain and a directional dial, which shows the distances to landmarks visible from the park. Located on the grounds is a metal information panel, which gives a brief history of the park and the dial.
