Description / Background

Two identical decorative wooden honour roll boards, each bordered on either side by ionic columns holding a shelf on which the header board sits. Names and headings are in gold lettering, however no conflict details are listed on either board. The First World War board is positioned on the right-hand side of the Second World War board. The First World War board was dedicated in 1922 and the Second World War board was dedicated in January 1952.

Several Dubbo firms were responsible for the completion of the Second World War board. It was built by Wallace & McGee, French polished by Evertt & Son and J. Lindsay completed the gold lettering.

After the closure of the Mogriguy Hall around 1967, the boards were transferred to the Eumungerie Coboco RSS and ALIA Memorial Hall.

Note on veteran's name: On the memorial, Charles Joseph William E Read is listed as 'Reid'.
