Description / Background

The memorial is a large timber and glass honour roll which lists the names of those from Gilgandra and surrounding districts who served in the Second World War. Following the initial compilation of names, other names have been added at a later date. The Australian Commonwealth Military Forces emblem is fixed at the top of the honour board frame upon a stylised timber rising sun.

The honour roll is located in the Gilgandra Services Club.
